About the Client: Cupertino is a suburban city of approximately 52,000 people in the San Francisco Bay Area, approximately 20 minutes from San Jose International Airport.

Project Description: The Cupertino City Center Plaza consists of approximately 45,000 square feet of high-profile site work improvements on a major artery in the heart of Cupertino. The project includes various water features, intricate trellis structures, and high-end hardscape and landscape improvements.

Special Features and Challenges: Green architecture concepts were involved throughout the design phase.

Nova Partners’ Role: Nova Partners was engaged to manage the preconstruction services, providing cost consulting, design oversight, and overall project management throughout the design phase of the project. During the construction phase, the Nova team was responsible for all aspects of the project, including scheduling, budget management, document control, and contract management.
