Project Description: The projects are a series of remodels of three different R&D buildings on the NetApp campus in Sunnyvale. The renovations include re-purposing labs, offices, and conference spaces as program needs have evolved over time. The projects are in Building 1, Building 10, and Building 16. Work includes TI’s, A/V, security, cabling, IDF upgrades, new furniture, and other related work.

Special Features and Challenges: The Building 10 Project was an 89,000 sq ft tenant improvement project for NetApp’s Field Sales Department. The project included new ADA bathrooms, 2 new break rooms, 20+ conference rooms, a large multipurpose training room and new and refurbished work stations. Additionally, the main lobby was “refreshed” as well as new carpet and paint thru out.

Nova Partners’ Role: Nova Partners was hired as the construction project manager and was responsible for complete construction management, including preconstruction services, coordination of the bidding process, and managing the project schedule and budget to a successful completion.
