About the Client: With medical facilities in Livermore, Pleasanton, and Tracy, California, ValleyCare Health System has been providing not-for-profit healthcare to the Tri-Valley and surrounding communities since 1961.
Project Description: ValleyCare Health Systems exercised an option to purchase this building in 2003 to create a 55,000 square foot medical office building to support outpatient services and specialty third-party physician groups. Currently, the ValleyCare Medical Office Building houses a diabetes facility, a cancer center, and ValleyCare’s materials management group, among other uses. It is also scheduled to include a women’s health/mammography center.
Nova Partners’ Role: Nova Partners assisted ValleyCare Health System with the due diligence process, overseeing construction compliance of tenant improvements by contractors for third-party physician groups, and overseeing the design and construction improvements for in-house ValleyCare programs and services.
