About the Project: The 201 Haskins Amenities project is located in the Oyster Point Area of South San Francisco, a global hub for bio-tech research and development. The project included the construction of a lobby, fitness center, auditorium, conference center, and kitchen/café within a 4-story atrium space. The amenities center was part of a 280,000 sf office building development owned by Alexandria Real Estate. The project featured top of the line finishes throughout the space. BIM modeling was utilized to coordinate the extensive building systems associated with construction of food service areas. The fitness center included new shower and locker room area as well as state of the art equipment.
Nova Partners’ Role: Nova Partners was brought on to the project during the permitting stage of the project. Nova’s role as the construction project manager included managing the final stages of design, establishment of the project GAMP budget, and daily management of the General Contractor. Nova was also responsible for hiring and managing the design process for the later stage design consultants (data, security, A/V) as well as the furniture and fitness equipment vendors.
