Intuit engaged Nova Partners to be the development and construction manager for their first ground-up project at the headquarters location in Mountain View, where they lease all of their other facilities. Intuit acquired two 4-acre sites to build four-story buildings and structured and below grade parking on each site designed to achieve LEED Platinum. The project required a full CEQA review and Nova managed that process for Intuit, along with full design management and all other pre-construction services. Nova was also engaged to manage the project through to occupancy.

The projects were both poured-in-place concrete structures with underfloor air distribution. Other key project features included 855kW of photovoltaic cells on the rooftop to deliver 61% of the power needs, and a 10,000 SF green roof area. The project was the first North Bayshore project allowed to proceed ahead of the pending Precise Plan and our approvals helped to define the key traffic mitigations, sustainability goals, and neighborhood outreach programs required for approval in this fast-growing area.

Nova managed the contractor selection process and lead the team to complete the architectural design team’s engagement and contract.
