About the Client: Telegis Networks, Inc. provides global e-business infrastructure facilities (co-location, hosting, networking, and services) to carriers, internet service providers, content providers/distributors, managed site providers, and application service providers.
Project Description: This is a 36,000 square foot multi-tenant co-location facility targeted at internet and application service providers. The project included the upgrade and retrofit of an existing warehouse, as required, to allow the build-out of the data center space. The facility includes high-powered AC and DC electrical infrastructure with UPS/generator redundancy and significant network data fiber. In addition to the computer floor area, the project features 7,000 square feet of high-end office and conference room space. Access to the facility is controlled by a high-security single-entrance man-trap.
Nova Partners’ Role: Nova Partners was engaged as the program and construction manager to assist Telegis Networks in the design and construction of their flagship site. In addition to working on this Sacramento location, Nova also assisted Telegis in the planning and project set-up phase of more than 15 sites in major cities throughout North America and Europe.
