Meadow Club Clubhouse

About This Project

Major Clubhouse Renovation

Location: Fairfax, Marin County, California

Architects: BAR Architects, Interiors designed by Wilson Associates of Los Angeles

Contractors: Nordby Construction

About the Client: The Meadow Club is one of the premiere private golf clubs in California. The 26,000 SF clubhouse adds to their prestige and is used for club events as well as rented for private engagements.

Project Description: This project transformed a 1994 golf house with 6,500 SF of upgrades designed to echo the craftsman-style architecture of the original 1920s clubhouse. The space includes a bar and grill, a men’s lounge, new full-service kitchen and a locker room expansion. Exterior improvements include a patio extension, landscape additions and an outdoor fire pit. The clubhouse project features 6,000 SF of original 1920’s construction combined with 10,000 SF of new construction to create a space that seamlessly integrates modern amenities with historical details with a large banquet area, pre-function space, bar, living room, board room, staff offices and a full-service production kitchen. New terraces and walkways complement the landscaping and the Alister MacKenzie designed golf course. The project also included renovation of the existing pool with construction of a new pool house and snack buildings.

Nova Partners’ Role: Nova Partners was engaged as the project manager to assist the Meadow Club with all phases of this project including planning, entitlements, budgeting, scheduling, and construction management.
