Corral de Tierra Country Club

About This Project

Location: New Clubhouse, Corral de Tierra, California

Architects: HGHB

Contractors: Daniels & House Construction

About the Client: Fifteen minutes from the Monterey peninsula, Corral de Tierra Country Club boasts the sunniest and most comfortable year-round golfing weather of any club in the region.

Project Description: This $8 million project included demolition of the three existing one-story structures and replacing with a new 31,205 SF 2-story clubhouse, and an integrated pro-shop and cart storage building. The new clubhouse houses a new kitchen facility to serve the private dining space, a members’ grill with outdoor seating on a deck overlooking the course, two banquet rooms separated by operable partitions, and a nearby lounge for club members. The lower floor of the clubhouse houses locker/shower facilities, an exercise room, and a card room. Nova conducted a site logistics study and then coordinated the installation of temporary facilities for the club’s staff and members so that the existing golf course, swimming pool, and tennis courts remained operational throughout the project.

Nova Partners’ Role: Nova Partners provided complete construction management services throughout this challenging project, obtained permits, and managed the bidding processes, schedule and budget.
