About the Client: Lake Merced Golf Club is a private golf and tennis club, and is considered one of the finest traditional golf courses in Northern California.

Project Description: The project involved demolition of the existing clubhouse down to its base structure, a seismic retrofit of the entire structure, and rebuilding of a new 35,000 SF facility complete with new skin, roof, MEP systems, interior improvements, and sitework.  The project features banquet dining with complete food service support, an informal café, a golf lounge, men’s and women’s locker rooms and corresponding lounge areas, card rooms, a board room, a pro-shop, and a golf bag storage area. The design is California Coastal and is intended to complement the first-class golf course.

Nova Partners’ Role: Nova Partners was engaged as the project manager to assist Lake Merced Golf Club in the planning, design, and construction of a new clubhouse.
